Guy Bourgouin is the Official Opposition Critic for Francophone Affairs, Mining, and Natural Resources and Forestry
Guy is a proud champion of Francophone and labour rights and has been fighting for workers for over 20 years.
He has a diverse range of experience working in the forestry, sawmill, plywood mill, health, hardware store, housekeeping and social services sectors across northern Ontario.
At Queen’s Park, he pushed for improvements to winter road maintenance in Northern Ontario, and he remains committed to ensuring local families get better access to health care as well as good-paying jobs.
He continues to fight for resources to address the water, housing and mental health crises in First Nation communities.
Born in Northern Ontario and of Métis descent , Guy has been living in Kapuskasing for over 20 years with his wife his two children.
