Guy Bourgouin is working to strengthen Ontario by standing up for workers, fighting for safer roads in the North, and defending the rights of Francophone and Indigenous communities.

As Shadow Minister for Natural Resources and Forestry, Guy brings over 20 years of union leadership and advocacy to his role as MPP for Mushkegowuk–James Bay. He served as President of USW Local 1-2010 for 19 years, representing workers across Northern Ontario in forestry, health care, social services, and more.

Since his election, Guy has pushed for improved winter road maintenance, better highway safety, and real investments in mental health, housing, and clean water for First Nations. Of Métis descent and based in Kapuskasing, Guy continues to be a fierce voice for labour rights, Northern equity, and community safety.
